We at Maison Jomere are committed to a better life for our children
and their children. In that regard we have set aside considerable
resources of our companies in order to promote a healthier way of life
while still enjoying the fruits of our labor.
As many of you know, we have been pioneering organic spirits and for
over 6 years have been lecturing, tasting and promoting the use of our
Juniper Green Organic London Dry Gin, UK5 Organic Vodka and Papagayo
Organic Spiced Rum. All these fine products are produced by Mr.
Christopher Parker, Managing Director of the Organic Spirits Company in
the U.K.
There are many reasons why we believe you should try our organic
spirits, with the obvious one being they are organic and helps with
sustainable resource. Another is the quality is far better than
conventionally produced spirits. However, the real purpose of this page is to give you
the opportunity to visit some of the sites of people and companies with
whom we work and with whom we cross link. The Organic World is very
small and if we are to survive it is necessary we support each other.
Please feel free to click on these sites, and we hope you return from
time to time as we will be adding additional interesting sites.
Please feel free to contact us at any time and we look forward to
your comments. Until then, I remain
With best regards,
Paul E. Davis

We
have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and
business. Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "are you
green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is
there. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for
making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s
always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic,
self-organizing network.

Recently Columbus Ave.

organic and sustainable wines and spirits and when possible do in store
tastings so their customers can see the advantage of purchasing organic.

While in Las Vegas attending the WSWA Convention I had the pleasure
of meeting Mr. Steven Rypka who is one of America's foremost Green
Living Consultants. Steven is easily the most passionate and informative
person I know concerning our environment and what the future will bring
unless we make some changes in our lifestyle. You should click on his
logo above and visit his site, it will certainly give you food for
thought. Bye the way, his wife Marsala is a feature writer for Luxury
Las Vegas Living and is one of my favorite people in the world. The next
time you visit Las Vegas read one of her articles, she writes as
beautifully and she is in person.

I met these two wonderfully crazy women (girls I'm old enough to be
their father) at the Universal Green Week in November. Their tent was
directly across from ours and within minutes we became friends. They are
beautiful, funny and yet very serious in getting their message out
to the world. I asked them to write something about their company and
below is what they wrote.
The
Girls Gone Green was founded by two ambitious girls with big mouths
including former broadcast meteorologist Julie Watkins.
In hopes of bringing dirty issues to the masses, Julie wanted to
find a way to combine her on-air experience with her fiery sense of
justice.
A radio show was born
with a no holds barred style. If
anyone was doing a dirty deed it was going to be uncovered and
exposed. Described as a show that is fast-paced, full of wit and
pulls no punches, The Girls Gone Green aren't afraid to tell you
what's on their minds. Serious issues, like the effects of
climate change will have on daily routines, the health hazards of
factory farming, and how people can clean up their daily lives are
covered in the hour long show. However, don't let the heavy
topics fool you. The girls still manage to keep their
sense of humor which keeps the show upbeat and fun.
The Girls Gone
Green feel passionately that this type of information needs to
exposed. Their goal is to become a driving force in educating
and spreading the word on issues that don't always make it to
mainstream America.
You can catch previous shows by going www.thegirlsgonegreen.com
and soon catch them weekly on the Progressive Radio Network and
podcasts. Also, find out what they are doing locally for various
causes, and how your help is desperately needed!
It’s one thing to complain, another to take action, but even better
when you can make a difference and still have fun!
(That's why they feel in love with Maison Jomere! Finally,
organic spirits to keep up the fun :)))
A very good friend of mine and a well known writer in the Mid West, Jill
Dimitre has just opened a very unique wine shop in Indianapolis, IN. I
met Jill via the Internet a few years ago when she was consulting with
various organic restaurants and discovered our Organic Spirits. Ever
since then we have stayed in touch out of friendship not business. Now
she has opened a new and unique shop with many fine wines and beers of
which I am sure there will be some excellent organics. She has spent
quite a lot of time selecting a wide range of affordable wines
that can be enjoyed at a price of $15 or less. She also offers a
wide variety of cheeses and other foods not found at your neighborhood
supermarket. If you are in the area drop by and see what she has
created, I am sure you'll walk away with a smile and some very
interesting items. If you don't believe me click on her logo and go to
her web site. I think you will be impressed. If you want to hear Jill
passionately talk about her wines go to this URL: http://www.indy.org/indianapolis/web/jsp/podcast/podcast.jsp?channel=9295145&episode=12850148

While
showing our Organic Spirits at the Universal Green event in
Orlando I had the pleasure of meeting Danny Leder who is one of
the owners of Greentree Clothing. He and his fiancé Nicole are both
committed to the betterment of our environment for which they should be
applauded. Bobbi and I are now wearing Danny's 70% bamboo and 30%
organic cotton T-shirts. They are so smooth and silky it's a pleasure to
put them on our bodies. Please go to his site and learn about his
extraordinary clothing.
Rainforest
Action Network is campaigning to break
America
’s oil addiction, protect endangered forests and the rights of
Indigenous peoples, and stop destructive investments around the world. Our
relentless market campaigns engage, pressure and inspire big business to
behave more responsibly. We push companies to balance profits with
principles, and we convince once intransigent corporations that
environmentally and socially destructive practices are not welcome in
the global marketplace.
There
are many fine magazines dealing only with the organic life style and
Organic Style Magazine is one of the best. You may want to subscribe to
this publication as each issue is loaded with articles, recipes,
advertisements and special features all dealing with the organic way of
life. Click on the Organic Style logo below.
The
